As the year ends, I find it opportune to express my reflections, sentiments, and viewpoints on the noteworthy and captivating fashion choices made by celebrities, both on the red carpet and in various other public appearances.

Dua Lipa
Commencing with this year's Met Gala, themed after Karl Lagerfeld, I am particularly enamored with Dua Lipa's attire. Her impeccable ensemble, adorned with exquisite jewelry and meticulously styled hair, resonated with me not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its adherence to the designated theme—which is very important to me.
Kylie Jenner
Regrettably, I find myself disapproving of this presentation. While I did not have the privilege of knowing Karl Lagerfeld personally, and acknowledging the potential existence of a concealed message that eludes my interpretation, I remain unconvinced by the look.
In my estimation, the chosen cut and color lack a flattering quality, and it appears incongruent with the preferences evidenced in Lagerfeld's renowned collections for Chanel. If he were to witness this, I think Lagerfeld might find cause for dismay in the deviation from his envisioned style.
Lil Nas X
This may be controversial, but I love this. Admittedly, I also love Lil Nas X, which may introduce a degree of bias, yet I find this look to be exceptionally impressive. While I cannot definitively surmise Karl Lagerfeld's endorsement of this interpretation, I appreciate the creativity and skill evident in this homage. It is worth noting that the attire pays tribute to Choupette, Karl's beloved cat. Despite potential dissenting opinions characterizing this as peculiar, I contend that those expressing reservations may not fully grasp the artistic vision embedded within this creative tribute.
Anne Hathaway
This is the look! This is everything! Anne Hathaway looks so good, she is not only gorgeous, but she is also nailing the theme. This look is important and incredible because it is incredibly original while still being on theme. This is by far my favorite Met Gala look from 2023.
Kim Kardashian
I'm am in the middle with this one – not exactly hating it, but it's not blowing me away either. I get where Kim’s daughter North is coming from with the pearls; they might be a bit much and look flashy and cheap. Overall, she's looking good, though. I'm not entirely sure if it screams Lagerfeld, but hey, it works for her. The Met Gala themes can be a challenge, and I think Kim met this one pretty well.
Barbie Premier- Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling
The Barbie Premier fashion. Everyone was serving amazing looks, but especially Margot Robbie. What I love most about these looks is that she clearly did her homework. Every dress is biased on a different Barbie doll and I find that aspect of her looks intriguing, not to mention the clothes themselves are exceptionally stunning. My particular favorite is the black ensemble, though some people were bothered by because it wasn’t pink. However, it is worth noting that while Barbie is known for her pink aesthetic, many of the dolls feature diverse color schemes. In my view, her looks were on point and the hue of the attire becomes secondary when you consider these looks.
Hunter Schafer
Doja Cat
Many people seemed to dislike this, but I actually quite like the look. In my opinion, while it may be weird, that is what makes it interesting. I think Doja Cat’s shaved head is what makes the look so interesting paired with the rhinestones and the dress. I think it was a new idea and was well executed.
Wow! I personally loved Hunter’s outfits so much. The combination of her and Coriolanus, played by Tom Blyth, are going to make me watch the Hunger Games. The detail in her dress and references to her character Tigris Snow, make this look so powerful. While all her looks from the red carpet were impressive, I had to choose this look because of the 3D flowers on the dress. The look is stunning and intriguing.
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour outfits were iconic and plentiful. I only chose a few of her looks, but I really loved how much detail she puts into everything she does, and this was represented in her outfits. My favorite look was her purple bodysuit, I think that the purple and blue tones work well with her skin and hair, making it even more stunning. The dark blue bodysuit was also incredibly beautiful and well executed. To be honest, I did not love the reputations outfit she wore, while she looks great and the snakes on the suit were cool, I don’t love the asymmetrical look.
